Well it is that time of year again SPRING! With spring comes Easter, so I thought it would be fun to post some memorable Easter moments that Jay and I have shared together.
The first moment was from Easter of 2005. It was while we were still just dating, but we both knew at the time we would get married. Anyway, we decided that we wanted to put on an Easter egg hunt for some of our friends. So we bought and filled a bunch of eggs, and hid them all around one of the buildings up at BYU-Idaho. Then to add to the fun, Jay dressed up as Cotton the Easter Bunny (we made up that name for him). We made these fake bunny tails out of cotton balls, handed them out to our friends, and told them to keep their eyes open while they were looking for eggs because Cotton was somewhere in the building and he was missing his tail. We told them whoever found Cotton and pinned his tail back on him first would get a prize. It was sooo funny. Jay totally played the part, he hopped all around the building trying to hide from those who were trying to pin his tail on. It was pretty entertaining. Who would have thought Jay had that in him. 
The second Easter moment was from Easter 2009. Yes, it was just last Easter, and nothing too monumental happened, but it was the first Easter that we got to spend with Chloe. While she had no clue about what was going on, it was fun just to have her around. Plus, she looked so cute in her very first Easter dress. The other thing that made last Easter special was the incredible talk that Elder Jeffrey R. Holland gave about the Savior, called "None Were With Him." It was so powerful, it has become one of those talks that I will never forget, and reread every Easter. It truly captivates the true meaning of Easter. This Easter my parents are coming to visit, and we are going to hide eggs around our yard for Chloe to find. Who knows maybe Jay will dress up like Cotton again (probably not, but that would be funny to see Chloe's reaction). Anyway, I hope you all have a great Easter!
