A few weeks ago we decided to take a trip to St. Louis, which turned out to be a short 20 minute drive from our house. Anyway, we spent the day there and had so much fun. First, we went to this old train station that the city of St. Louis renovated a few years ago. Now the station is home to a bunch of boutiques and two large hotels. We went into the lobby of one of the hotels and it was beautiful. They had preserved all of the original architecture. The ceilings were very high and arched, the walls were made out of some kind of green stone with a marble like texture that had figures carved into it. The whole room was accented with gold leafing, and it had beautiful stained glass windows. It was pretty impressive. (If you click on the pictures you can get a larger and closer view)
We also went to the Galleria mall, which was huge. Then we ate at this authentic Italian restaurant that had the best food. Everything there was made from scratch, and the restaurant was literally right in the middle of this old historic neighborhood.Last, we went to the St. Louis Art Musem, which was so cool, we got to see the Pollock and de Kooning exhibit, which was really impressive, and tour the entire art museum, where I was excited to find paintings on display by artists like Monet, Degas, Gauguin, Seurat, and Van Gough. It was really exciting to see authentic paintings by some of the most influential artists throughout history.

Sounds like a fun trip guys. I hope that we can go on a trip with you one day - you know when we are all rich and famous! Chloe looks so dang cute. She is a beautiful girl - Jay of course you are pretty too:)
Courtney I just joined a book club too, however our first book is a fantasy. I am over half way thru and still not sure if I like reading fantasies. We will see. It is called 'Inkheart'.
